About Zoe

Zoe grew up in a small town in Western Canada, she earned a Bachelor of Fashion Design in Vancouver, lived and worked as a designer for eleven years in NYC, NY, and recently relocated to Seattle.  She loved working as a designer in the fashion industry but left that career to pursue her love of photography, soon after the first of her three children was born.

Zoe applies her extensive visual and design training from the fashion industry to her work as a photographer. Her love of fashion history, and her joyful ability to play with materials, fabrics, accessories, headpieces, and backdrops combine to create gorgeous, customized looks that embody the client.  Her intrinsic flare for hand-working materials used in the creation of photographs captures feelings in a timeless and intimate style. The most captivating images have meaning and context; that is what she strives to cocreate with each client portrait.
